Not capturing leads from their visitors.
Now I get it, you’re so anxious to make a sale that you immediately funnel any traffic you get to a sales page. But here’s the thing, very few people actually buy on their first visit to a sales page. Most people require some “warming up” before they make a purchase. So, if you’re just dumping your traffic to the sales page, without any means to follow up then you’re leaving money on the table…
You will be much better off in the long run if you capture that visitor’s email address, before sending them off. That way you can promote to them forever or at least as long as they remain a subscriber.
Now, capturing leads from your visitors does require a few things:
* You’ll need an Autoresponder (there are free ones, see the video below)
* You’ll need a way to convince your visitor to give you their email address (I’ll show you some examples of this later)
* Patience… Not every visitor will opt in AND not every optin will buy!
