I just signed up for BlogRush today. Blogrush is a free service, it’s kind of a [tag-tec]Web 2.0[/tag-tec] version of a banner exchange.
You can see it in action in the left sidebar on my site. Blogrush works using your RSS feed. When you sign up (it’s free), you get a small piece of code to install in your site. I installed mine using my sidebar widget, but you can just paste the code in your sidebar if you don’t have widgets installed.
There are a couple of cool things about [tag-tec]Blogrush[/tag-tec]. First, when someone clicks on a Blogrush link, the link opens in a new page, so you’re not losing the visitor. Next your content is displayed 1 to 1, so for every display of Blogrush on your page is displayed on the network. It’s also mult-tiered, you get 1 to 1 displays down (I think 10 levels). Lastly, and this is a cool feature, you can have multiple blogs in the system and you can configure it to send more (or all) of your displays to on blog. This is good if you have a site that’s getting traffic and you’re launching a new site —you can send all the traffic to the new site. It’s cool.
I recommend you check out Blogrush before they start charging for it. Check it out here!
