It’s tough moving an affiliate blog into profitability, you know you have a voice, you write diligently about your niche yet the traffic 
just doesn’t come. The frustrating part is no matter how hard you work; it can take months to make even that first affiliate sale. Luckily there are a few resources on the web that will actually pay you for what you have now; a content-rich website. Below I’ll describe several popular options so you can start generating that cold hard cash —immediately.
Get Paid for blogging…
This type of service pays you to do what you should already be doing; posting to your blog. It’s pretty straight forward, advertisers order a certain number of posts about their product or website; often they’ll have a specific keyword that they’ll want linkbacks. You (the blogger) choose the ones you want to post about, then simply write the post following the advertisers instructions. Typically you can earn five to ten dollars per post. There are often some restrictions regarding the number of paid posts you can make per day and the ratio of paid posts to actual content posts, but this is a valid way to take advantage of your existing blog. Lastly, while these services are free to join, there is a review process before you can start posting.
I’ve tested several of these system, the two here are the two listed below are the once I recommend:
Get paid for linking…
Most bloggers realize that Linkbacks are valuable to SEO and for old fashioned traffic generation. We participate in link exchange schemes, submit to directories and more. However, there is a market for paid text links —where webmasters pay you for a link to their site. You can either do this yourself, by contacting webmasters individually or you can sign up with a service that will list your site for advertisers to browse. I’ve had good results with Text Link Ads. With this site you sign up (it’s free) and submit your blog(s) for approval. Once approved, your offer goes out to their ad system. Advertisers then browse through the offerings and select the sites they’d like to buy a link from. All transactions are handled through Text Link Ads, they split the fee with you. Each site is allowed to sell a maximum of eight links, link prices are based on the demand within their particular category – it’s possible to earn about $100/month per site with this system. Note, Text Link Ads also offer RSS feed advertising, but I don’t yet have experience with that.

Get Paid For Content…
Associated Content is an interesting site. They’ll pay you for articles you’ve written even if they’re already published. AC buys both written and video content. You sign up (it’s free) and submit the article(s) you wish to have them publish. You have to tell them at the outset if the article you’re submitting is exclusive (not published elsewhere) or non-exclusive. They then review your content and if they like it they make you an offer. Typically a non-exclusive article will net you about $4-$5. Exclusive content pays higher.
One important thing to remember about this service, there’s no resource box –it’s not like article syndication where you can get Linkbacks to your site, they buy the article and treat it as their own.
I’ve only used this service for non-exclusive articles (articles I’d already published), I was paid $4 per article, the payment arrives (via PayPal) a few days after the offer is accepted.

Internet Marketing WAHT

I’ve been an Internet marketer for over eight years, I’ve been working from home for the last six years. It’s great, I’ve been a stay at home dad for my sons entire life. That doesn’t mean it’s all wonderful. Working at home has its share of challanges. Here’s some of the most important Work At Home Topics (WAHT) I’ve dealt with.
My son is older now and started kindergarten this year, so he is out of the house for about seven hours a day during the week. This is nice, as it obviously gives me the opportunity to get work done without the pitter patter of little feet (not to mention, the crash clang of his soccer ball against the wall or the tug-tug of “daddy please come play with me”). Anyway, over the last six years I’ve had to develop some strategies for getting things done. Here’s a few of my favorite:
Set yourself up to succeed
I used to get frustrated with all the interruptions as soon as I started to work. So what did I do? I realized that there are 24 hours in a day and that even though I was used to working 9 to 5 in my old job, I could make my own hours now that I’m working from home –let’s face it, most of my job as an Internet Marketer is solitary work that can be done at any time. So, I decided to give my son as much of my time as I could, and did my work during his “down time”. This allowed me to really bond with my son in a way that most men don’t get to. When he was napping or in bed for the night, I did my work.
Use a notebook computer and go wireless
When my son was about three years old, we decided to take a family vacation to Florida. To that point I used strictly desktop computers, however since I knew we would be away for over two weeks, I decided to take the plunge and purchase a portable computer that I could take with me so I could at least keep up with things while we were away. Well, I’ve been using notebook computers ever since (I’m on my second one now). Combine the portability of a notebook computer with the convenience of a wireless network and I can work from any room in the house. Also, at times when I just have to get something done at a “noisy time” in the house, I can simply pack up and go work at my local Starbucks –most now offer wireless access.
Get organized to Keep Focused
When you’re self-employed you face the challenge of having too much freedom. It’s very easy to get lazy and put unpleasant tasks off even though you know they’re important. I find that working from a priority list helps me get the things I need to do done. I recommend that you take a work day and simply clean your desk (or work space). Get rid of any unnecessary documents, file anything that needs to be saved, hold on to anything that may require some action. Next, go through your emails; answer any that will require a quick response, save any that require some kind of actual work (RFP requests, new client projects etc). Next, go through whatever is left on your desk and your email inbox, note each separately on a sheet of paper (paper lists are better for this). Once this is done, prioritize each task based. Now make a separate list of any tasks that need to be accomplished on a dialy, weekly, monthly basis – prioritize each task based on how crucial it is to your business.
Now with your two lists in place, finish cleaning your desk – be brutal, get rid of anything that is not absolutely necessary. Once your desk is clean, you can get back to work.
Going forward you’ll be working from your lists, your lists should always be near by. As projects are completed cross them off the list, as new once come in –add them to your lists. Doing this quickly becomes a habit and you’ll soon find that you’re getting more done then ever before.

Working from home AND making money doing it, that’s what this site is all about. You see, too many so called “work at home” products or systems are really just sales machines. These websites simply make promises they can’t keep. Often times, they’ve actually spent more time and money on their sales pitch then they actually spent on whatever it is they’re selling. Make no mistake; they’re very persuasive – often using subtle innuendo and sometimes outright lies to get you to plunk down your hard earned cash.
Now, some products do deliver what they promise, the problem is with so many new products, systems and services coming out every month –how does anyone, decide where to spend their limited budget?
Well here’s a few ideas to help you wade through the myriad of choices you’ll have to make. Some are just plain common sense, others require a little more thinking. Here goes…
1) Ask Me! Visit my contact form and shoot me a message, If I’ve had experience with a product I’ll tell you about – if not, I’ll find people who have.
2) Ask Around! Don’t be shy, visit forums and ask for peoples experience with a particular product/service
3) Contact the seller – the seller should be willing to answer questions for you presale. Don’t be afraid to ask for to see sample websites, demo versions etc. Just, don’t be bashfull!

What are the most lucrative internet businesses? Well… they’re the ones you’ll put the most effort into.
Too many would-be internet marketers continually chase after the latest hot niches that they’ve heard are making people rich. Secret #2 – Pick a program or business and stick with it
I am all for trying to have multiple streams of income and it
is nice to know that you can count on more than one place for
your money, but you have to pick your programs or businesses and
stick with them. It doesn’t matter if you choose 1, 2, 3, or 4
programs, stick with them.
Program hoppers never make any money and will claim everything is a scam. They never give
anything a chance. I would say that you need to at least stick
with a program or business for 3 months before dumping it. Even
then you might not see huge results, but if you are moving
forward with it, then you will get there sooner or later.
Secret #3 – Finding a Program that allows you to make money off
your own affiliates
This is the secret that makes more affiliate marketers more
money than any other secret I can share with you. When you have
a team of affiliates under you making money and they are making
you money too, it does nothing but boost your confidence,
income, and happiness. It is a great feeling to have a team of
individuals that are making you money everyday.
The greatest thing is when you figure out how to make money
with a program, you get to pass your knowledge onto your team
and set them loose to make you more money. When you get to this
point it all just becomes fun and believe me it is very
enjoyable to get an e-mail from one of your team members
thanking you for providing them with the secret that unlocked a
great new income for them.
