RPM Institute announces Headache free Authority Site building.

Recently the (RPMi) unveiled a very clever way of handling the headaches that invariably arise when designing a new website. How? By simply taking all the technical issues of setting up a new sight away from the membership and putting this burden squarely on the shoulders of the more technically adept site design department. With the new and improved system, we (the membership) simply request a new site; fill out a few entries on a form and the support staff takes care of the rest. The entire build process takes less then a week (often much quicker).

Included with the build are all of the tools, plug-ins, widgets and graphics you need to create a content rich authority website. The designers create a professional looking site that just works —You simply have to add your content.

So what do you actually get with your new site?

First, you get free web hosting. The hosting includes the full range of services you expect – unlimited emails, traffic stats and log files, file manager, cpanel, fantastico and more…

Included with the build are all of the tools, plug-ins, widgets and graphics you need to create a content rich authority website.

Next, RPMi sites are blog based. They’re built using an enhanced version of the Wordpress blog system. The blog system is further extended with a suite of plugins, some of these publicly available others proprietary. Finally, two stand-alone applications, ContentPress and PheedPress are included and configured with each site build.

ContentPress (CP) is a system that automates the posting of content to your blog, this is NOT a site scraper, or some other black-hat site builder, CP is a tool to help automate the process of getting content on your blog. Among the uses of CP, is the ability to have the system automatically post content at random days and times. You just add your articles to the CP database, set a few calendar options then go about your business. CP then posts your articles at the intervals you selected.

The next tool, Pheedpress is an application that allows you to configure custom feeds for your sites. Feeds can be created by you and listed on your blog, there is also an interactive tool that allows your users to create there own feeds of your content (very innovative). Pheedpress is an awesome tool for getting your site noticed by potential users all around the world.

Both of these tools, CP and Pheedpress are proprietary and available only to RPMi users.

What I like about this new set-up is that they’ve removed ALL the old road-blocks to building your sites. Now, there’s no more excuses, you simply request your site, wait a few days for your new to be hand-crafted by the RPMi sight building team, then start posting content. It’s that simple!

Have a look at the RPMi, It’s a great system and one I fully recommend to anyone who’s looking for a headache-free way to get their website live.

Getting out of Google’s Supplemental Index

Here’s a good post from Sootle about getting your site out of the .

Interesting Quote:

“being in the Supplemental Index is not a penalty of any sort. It might feel like it to you, but it’s no indication that your website has been caught misbehaving.”

Wishfulranking - Web Directory 2.0

Here’s a new web directory, WishfulRanking.com, that’s kind of a pay per click directory, as opposed to a pay per click () . Here’s how it works:

At , you select your category as you would in any other directory, then instead of paying a flat rate to be added to the directory, you place a bid - auction style. The more you bid the higher in the directory your listing is placed.

Bids start at $1.25, you can stay in the directory for that amount, if you’re outbid you can simply place a higher bid to move your listing up in the ranks. I checked, it looks like PR is being passed to the sites listed, however at this time the site isn’t showing any PR of its own and only the homepage is currently listed in Google. I expect this will change pretty quickly as the site gets it own backlinks from press releases and reviews (like this one).

Anyway, it’s an interesting concept, I submitted this site, the process was straight forward, I made my payment using Paypal (it was the only payment option). I paid the minimum amount ($1.25) as there were no other sites in my category. As of this writing, my site is in going through the review process.

have a look for yourself.

How to do long tail keyword research

Keyword research is arguably the most important part of the process. It does you no good to spend months getting a high ranking if the keywords you selected do not reflect how your potential customers are searching for you. If the keyphrases you’ve targeted are too competitive and you may never even crack the first page of the serps – meaning your site simply won’t be found.

The Long Tail of SEO promises a better outcome. With the , you’ll find that there is a virtually unlimited supply of ripe, low hanging fruit just waiting to be picked. But how do you find these ? Two online new tools promise to help.

Promoting your .mobi website

Okay, so you’ve designed your first Mobile Website, you’ve worked hard to make sure it is W3C Compliant. Now it’s time to promote the new site! So how do you promote a .mobi site? Well, it is not all that much different from promoting your .com, .net, or any other .extension site on the internet. They all share some common goals; getting traffic and appealing to customers. Now that you have expanded to cater to the cellular phone customers, you’re ready to go. In this article, we will show you some of the ways you can start promoting your .mobi website and start getting the traffic you want.

Directories

There are several directories available to the exclusive group of .mobi on the internet. For example, you can submit your .mobi website to directories such as Yahoo! Mobile, DotMobi, and many others. The key here is you want to tell everyone you can about your latest development and inclusion into the mobile world.

Here’s links:

Traditional Promotional Methods

Promote your .mobi website on every page of your current website. Also, note it on every business card, for every employee, as well as any other promotional materials you might use, your .mobi website needs to be placed in prominent view. People will not know it exists if you do not tell them about it. Your target market will be very interested in learning about your latest development and will enjoy the time it can save.

Articles and Press Releases

Whenever you make innovative and exciting changes to your business or company, a press release is generally the first thing that comes to mind. With your .mobi website, it should be no different. Write and submit a press release to some place like PRweb.com and let the world know you are making a difference.

Articles work great as well. You want to write articles about your latest development, how to use .mobi websites, how to access them, etc. and include your .mobi website in your resource box. This is a great way to spread the word.

Once you have begun to promote your .mobi website, you will find that rest just falls into place. It is up to you how much traffic and exposure your mobile website gets, so why not promote in any and every possible way that you can.
