Squidoo Traffic Power Review

I had the privilege of reviewing an advanced copy of Squidoo Traffic Power a few weeks ago. The Author, Rena Klingenberg, is a fellow member of the Authority Site Center and when the ebook was in its final stages, she asked for some of us to review it.

In case you’ve never heard of it, Squidoo is a site designed to let us regular folk, create highly focused, informative web pages (called a Lens) about any subject that we care to write about. The site is completely free (in fact, built into the system is the ability to earn revenue from your pages).

One more important fact about Squidoo —Google loves Squidoo, Squidoo pages tend to get indexed very quickly and often rank very well in the SERPs.

Now, prior to reading this ebook, I really didn’t know much about Squidoo, other then the fact that it’s the brainchild of Seth Godin, someone who I greatly respect and admire. Squidoo was something that I had heard about and planned to look into, but just hadn’t gotten around to yet.

Squidoo Traffic Power is a very quick 20 page read. The ebook goes through the technical process of signing up with Squidoo and creating your Lens. Much more then that however, Rena shows us real world examples of Lens pages she’s created along with the process that she uses to drive targeted traffic to her websites.

In the hour or so it took me to read this ebook, I learned things like:

* What kind of information should be included in a Lens page
* How to link out from your lens page
