SEO Book Review

In his extensive 328 page work titled simply SEO Book, Aaron Wall covers a wide variety of topics related to internet marketing. The scope of this amazing book goes so far beyond SEO that this ebook really ought to have a more descriptive title —but who am I to second guess. Anyway, on to my SEO Book Review:

Okay, so you want to make money online using traffic you get from the search engine… Right? Well this book is an absolute must.

First off —Mr. Wall understands that many people simply won’t sit down and read a 328 page ebook, so the first fifteen pages provide you with a quick and concise, easily digestible plan to improve your organic Search engine rankings. Included in this section are a separate “SEO Tools” PDF that shows you all of the SEO and keyphrase related tools you’ll ever need …Many of these tools are free, by the way. Next there’s a dozen or so pages explaining the basic concepts of SEO and finally there’s an “SEO Quick Start Check List” to keep you on track. The information contained in this first section alone is worth the price of admission.

So what else do you get?
Once you get past the first section, things get more indepth. Note, this is NOT filler information, if you’re serious about SEO – where it’s been AND where it’s going – you’d better pay close attention. Aaron Wall is a true SEO guru who understands something that so many others don’t… That the easiest part of SEO is getting your pages to rank well in the SERPS, the important stuff (and the part that most people get wrong) has nothing to do with proper formatting of your title tags or the keyword density of your web pages, no the important stuff happens long before you actually start building your pages. This is the information that is locked up in the remainder of the ebook.

Search Engine Marketing, Viral Marketing, Social Websites – Web 2.0

Something you don’t often expect to see in a book about SEO is information about selling. But SEO Book includes sections on writing ad copy, generating revenue, website usability. Also included is information about social bookmarking and other Web 2.0 innovations.

Further information includes discussions about how to hire an SEO, what to look for, what to expect. Also information about Pay Per Click (PPC) search engines – with important topics like how to write ad copy and how to improve your click through rates. Finally, there’s even information about becoming a professional SEO –where to find clients, how to sell your services.

I recommend this SEO book to anyone who has a website and wants to make money with it. Period!

    6. SEO book is an excellent resource on search engine optimization. I am however disappointed that the keyword suggestion tool at the site relies partly on overture which is all but obsolete now
