Now it’s the Google Tip Jar – Is there anything Google can’t do?
Using their Moderator system, Google is helping people find ways to save money.
The so-called Google Tip Jar is breaks down tips by categories, including finance, shopping, food, vacation, family and others. Here’s a quick sampling of a few tips that I found interesting:
- “Request a reduction in the interest rate on your credit cards. As with home equity loans, credit card companies sometimes are willing to reduce the interest rate. It can’t hurt to ask.” (Yeah – Good Luck With That One!)
- “Turn off the TV! Did you know that leaving the television on is the number one electricity waster in the world? When everyone is finished watching television, especially before going to sleep, turn it off.”
- “Buy a water filter and take your own water to the gym/sports etc. bottled water is expensive, unnecessary and bad for the environment”
Definately, some interesting stuff there – Check Out The Google Tip Jar Here!
