Link Text and Rankings — A test

Among the blogs that I scan each day is an excellent one by a fellow named Chris Hooley called ThinkBait. In a post Chris did yesterday (March 11), he talked about the importance of linking and link text. He described a post he made about an Arizona Pool Company that builds and installs fiberglass pools, and how this post influenced the Google SERPS.

As a test, Chris asked other blogs to reference his post and/or the pool company to see how these additional links further affected the SERPS. As you have probably guessed, this is my entry to that list.

Watch the Google SERPs for the following terms: “Arizona Pool Builder”, “Fiberglass Pool Builder”
