Using The New Clickbank HopAd builder tool…
Clickbank recently released a very cool tool to help affiliates quickly ad affiliate products to their sites (Watch the video below to see how to create an ad using the new tool)…
The new “HopAd Builder Tool” creates two kinds of ads. Text Ads, that look very much like Google Adsense.
Here’s an example:

You can also create the ad in other standard sizes like (468×60, leaderboard etc…)
…and the interactive Tabbed Ad Box Here’s an example of that:

Both ad types are controlled by the keywords you enter and provide an ever-updating set of Affiliate products for your site.
Creating a “text ad” is pretty straight forward, you select the size you want and enter in your keywords and the tool will generate the javascript code to paste into your site. The “Tabbed Box” has a few additional settings but is still pretty easy to use.

Your mother probably told you a million times that “Honesty is the best policy”. I know mine did. I heard it whenever I was about to be punished for something and was about to give her some silly excuse –Remember, honesty is the best policy she’d tell me and I’d at least reconsider whatever it was I was about to say. It’s funny, but long before there was an internet; my mother knew the key to being a successful web marketer…
You see, successfully selling on the web is about trust, and it’s about relationships. Having a website instantly adds a certain amount of credibility to the seller. You come to my website, you assume I have some idea what I’m talking about because I ….Have a website. Hopefully, once you’ve taken a look around, you’ll see my site is NOT just a “banner farm” for every affiliate program on the web. Hopefully, you’ll see that I really only promote a few products and those products come along with full –warts and all—reviews. That’s the way I’ve tried to fashion this and all my websites.
Anyway, a few moments ago, I told you that simply having a website adds a certain amount of credibility –while that’s true, the economics of having a website today, make it so that really, anyone can get on the web within a week and for under $50 – so, while that credibility boost is real, it’s pretty short-lived once the casual surfer smartens up. That’s where many so-called gurus fall short, they don’t build their sites with the Authority Site mentality, instead they simply pump out site after site, often using machine generated content or only syndicated content, with no thought toward building any type of relationship with their visitors – heck, they’re happy just to get visitors, funnel them through to their commissionable products and never see them again.
Is there money to be made doing things this way? Sure there is.
Is it a long term – sustainable income? NO.
The truly successful marketers understand that it takes time to build a profitable business. They understand that most people aren’t going to buy on the first visit, and that most won’t buy simply because they saw a colorful banner. People buy because someone that they feel is knowledgeable told them about a product or service that will solve a particular problem that they’re having.
It all works like this
• People buy because; they trust the person who made the recommendation…
• If the product proves to be as good as described…
• They’ll come back the next time they need a solution!
So you see, it may take a little while to make the initial sale, but that initial sale can lead to a virtually unlimited number of follow up sales. In the long run, you’ll make more money (a lot more money) by building relationships with your visitors. You see, mom was right – Honesty is the best policy!
