Get Google Ads Free –Revisited

In my original assessment of Get Google Ads Free I implied that you’re not really getting free adwords clicks and that the process described in the ebook is not without risk. I didn’t give the product a glowing recommendation as what’s written on the sales page and what you’re actually getting are not exactly the same things (as in my last post, I won’t give away the secret). However, I do feel that what is contained within the ebook, is a viable plan for making money using PPC web traffic and that someone who is a reasonably experienced web marketer, with a few bucks to invest could make this system work.

It’s been about a week since I first made that post, the product was out for several weeks before that – there’s been lots of buzz about it in forums and on blogs… You’d expect that there’d be lots of sites using this system…

Well, this morning I paid a visit to Google and plugged in some “hot” keywords in various niches to see who was using this system. Just for the record, the system described is very easy to spot –(it has to be in order for it to work). Well, you know what? – I wasn’t able to find a single example of this system being used. I then went back to the original product as I remembered the author did offer some keyphrases for use. I figured at least one person who read the book would be using the system for the phrases listed within the book —NOPE!

So what went wrong?

I guess this is a product without a market. My thinking is that a newbie would NOT really be ready to invest the kind of money that will be required to get this system up and running. On the other hand, experienced marketers, the ones who could probably make this work, wouldn’t be interested for a couple of reasons. First, the sales page is misleading (I’m sure this has sent lots of people to the refund desk –pretty quickly). Secondly, a good marketer who’s making a profit using PPC is already –sort of– doing what is described within the ebook. To go ahead and implement this system on his or her existing landing pages would probably only water down the effectiveness of the page.

My original assessment stands – Get Google Ads Free is a viable plan for making money with PPC’s. However – this product would NOT be my first recommendation to anyone! Lot’s of other products come to mind…

A Newbie marketer would be much better served by a product like – Affiliate Outline – it’s a great intro to affiliate marketing it covers pretty much everything you need to get started —and it’s much cheaper at only $47.

For more seasoned users I’d recommend a product like:

Beating Adwords this is the definitive guide to getting the most out of your Google PPC Dollars. Beating Adwords explains in detail the new Google ranking system (learn how to avoid the “Google Slap”), how to tweak your ads and where to find niche products to promote – (You also get optimized landing page templates – this alone is worth the price of admission). This ebook is only $67

Lastly, deep down we all know that there ain’t nothing that’s free in this world and that some anonymous ebook marketer sure didn’t find some new secret formula for taking millions away from Google —and if he did, would he really sell it for $67 a copy?

This doesn’t violate Google Terms in any way. The only tricky part is how to make sure the landing page do not get slap with poor or low quality score. It would be impossible to make a profit in that case since you will be paying huge amount per click!

Thanks for this article. I think it is valuable and useful and I agree that it doesn’t violate Google terms.

I think I came across the sales page you are referring too. I looked it over and decided not to purchase it because it didn’t ’sound’ right. Thanks for providing a fair synopsis of what the book has to offer.
